
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
2. Prepare a rectangular baking dish (or similar) 13x9x2 inches by spraying with cooking spray or lightly oiling
3. If not already pre-cooked, brown the ground beef in a skillet, then drain and set aside
4. Mix cream cheese, sour cream, 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese and 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning in a mixing bowl until smooth and creamy
5. Mix the ground beef with the pasta sauce in a mixing bowl and spoon half of this mixture into the baking dish
6. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture evenly onto the beef mixture, then top with the other half of the beef mixture
7. Stir together 1 cup of the Parmesan cheese, the baking mix, and the mild in a mixing bowl until blended, the pour over the top of the beef mixture in the baking dish
8. Bake uncovered for 30-35 minutes or until light golden brown.
9. Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese and remaining Italian seasoning
10. Bake for an additional 5 min, then let stand for 10 min before serving
You can also use ground turkey if you prefer.
